Clinton Council of Beach Associations
The Clinton Council of Beach Associations (CCBA) was established in April 2023 with the goal of bringing together the various beach associations in Clinton, Connecticut. The CCBA is committed to promoting awareness of issues that affect shoreline residents, and to extending its reach to include those who are not affiliated with organized beach associations.
Clinton's Coastal Resiliency Task Force
We are particularly interested in the work of Clinton's Coastal Resiliency Task Force. The task force will work to develop and implement a coastal resiliency plan in collaboration with Westbrook, Old Saybrook, and the Borough of Fenwick. Westbrook received a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation's Long Island Sound Futures Fund and is taking the lead on this very important project.
Westbrook's Committee and the Regional Effort
The Town of Westbrook is seeking to engage the services of a Consulting Planning / Engineering firm to provide professional services for the preparation of a Coastal Resiliency Plan. Interviews will be held May 11, 2023. A copy of the detailed request for quote can be found at: https://www.westbrookct.us/DocumentCenter/View/7421/Coastal-Resiliency-RFQ-4323-Revised.
